I recently discovered this little gem of a takeaway, and I couldn't be happier! As a massive fan of Chinese cuisine, I've tried countless places, but this one really stands out. The first time I ordered, I went for the classic sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice, and let me tell you - it was a taste sensation! The chicken was crispy, the sauce was tangy but not overpowering, and the rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked. I was also pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes; they were generous enough to share or save for later. The staff were friendly and welcoming when I picked up my order, which made the experience even better. I love that they take the time to chat and make sure you feel valued as a customer. The only minor downside was the waiting time, which was a tad longer than I expected, but honestly, it was worth every minute. Plus, it shows they are cooking everything fresh, which is important to me. I’ve since been back a couple of times, and I’ve tried their crispy chili beef and the prawn crackers, both of which were equally delicious! Overall, I highly recommend this place if you are looking for authentic and flavourful Chinese food that doesn’t break the bank. Definitely my new go-to for takeaway! What a superb find! I ordered from this takeaway last week after hearing rave reviews from friends, and I have to say, it lived up to the hype. The menu had a great variety of dishes, making it difficult to choose, but I finally settled on some chow mein and dumplings. Both were simply fantastic! The noodles were packed with flavour and had a nice bite to them – not soggy at all. The dumplings were so good that I wished I ordered more! The delivery was prompt, which is always a bonus, especially on a busy evening. I did notice that the packaging could be a bit more eco-friendly, though - I’m all for sustainability. But, overall, it’s a minor issue in the grand scheme of things because the food quality was top-notch! I’ll definitely be ordering again soon, especially to try the honey glazed ribs that caught my eye. If you’re in the area and fancy a treat, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won’t regret it!
